Target releases product imagery for its latest collaboration, this time with jewellery designer and CFDA winner Eddie Borgo. The collection showcases a slew of accessories including clutches, backpacks, drawstring pouches, belts and an array of bracelets and necklaces. The lookbook features British fashion icon Poppy Delevingne.
“I have a few favorites,” says Poppy. “The gold choker, because when I create my own designs, I like to add a lot of the studs, a lot of the gold totems; the galaxy-inspired backpack, because I think that’s really beautiful; and the round clutch bag that’s covered with all sorts of charms and totems. It’s all very clever.”
Borgo was first commissioned to create jewelry for Proenza Schouler and Marchesa, and in 2008 launched his namesake collection amassing a sizable celebrity following including Blake Lively, Rihanna and Jessica Alba. Sold in over 200 retailers worldwide, the jewelry designer will be launching a line of handbags for Fall 2015.
All pieces from the collection can be customized with various add-on charms in hematite, gunmetal, quartz, pyrite, cherrywood, hand-poured resin, semi-precious rose and jade. The collection will be available July 12th at Target nationwide and online at Target.com. If it’s anything like Target’s previous fashion forward collaborations, it’ll sell out fast.
