Queen Bey appears on a double sided cover for Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book, and it’s everything. Shot by Pierre Debusschere, the featured editorial sees the Grammy winner and Vanguard recipient adorned in a  Yohji Yamamoto cape featuring a turquoise and hot pink floral motif, paired with a pair of black heels.  More from the editorial include select pieces from the collections of COMME des GARCONS, Prada, Nike X Ricardo Tisci, and a special Chanel branded surfboard(t).
In the interview with CR Fashion Book, Beyonce pens a piece called Bey The Light in which she calls her daughter Blue her “biggest muse.” Written by Beyonce, and “remixed” by award-winning writer Forrest Gander.

“It’s my daughter, she’s my biggest muse, There’s someone, we all find out soon, more important than ourselves to lose. I feel a deep bond with young children — all those photos in my dressing room — especially those who’ve been stricken. Children I’ve met across the years — they uplift me like pieces of moon and guide me, whispering in my ear.”

She then continues by saying “Utopias they don’t much interest me. I always mess things up a bit. It’s chaos, in part, that helps us see. But for my daughter I dream a day when no one roots for others to fail, when we all mean what we say.”

Check out more shots below, and be sure to pick up a copy of the issue on select newsstands now.
