Samsung Introduces The Galaxy Alpha



Samsung introduces its latest addition to the Galaxy lineup, the Alpha smartphone. Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones use of plastics, have been called, “cheap” compared to other competitors in the smart phone market. This time around, the company boasts that this new model will be the “slimmest and sleekest” Samsung smartphone to date. Measuring at almost 7mm thick, the Galaxy Alpha will feature a 4.7-inch screen, and an “advanced” camera with HDR (high-dynamic range) imaging, allowing the user to take photos in difficult lighting.

Featuring a thin, lightweight design, the Alpha comes with a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, along with an advanced camera and real time HDR. Extra features include Ultra-Power Saving Mode, S Health, Finger Print Scanner, Private Mode, and connectivity with the latest Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Live and Gear 2 wearable devices. There hasn’t been much word as far as pricing goes, but device will be readily available in charcoal black, dazzling white, frosted gold, sleek silver, and scuba blue. Samsung is expected to release more details about the new device following the upcoming launch of the new Galaxy Note phablet on September 3. Stay tuned.
